WW2 and Korean War veterans visit Washington D.C. memorials with Honor Flight Philadelphia

Founded in 2004, the Honor Flight Network is a nonprofit created with a mission to transport America’s veterans to Washington D.C., to visit the national memorials there honoring their services. On Saturday, Honor Flight Philadelphia took 138 World War 2 and Korean War veterans, including Rydal Park residents Fred Malkin, Dr. Herman Rudnick and Morton “Bud” Rothschild. PHL17’s Lauren Berman traveled with the vets to capture the experience and their story.
